Records (1892-1963) of OSIA Victor Emanuel Lodge No. 1646 (Haverhill, Mass.) consist of state and local OSIA records along with newspaper clippings, photographs, and artifacts. State records include a Massachusetts grand convention agenda, proposals, and booklet, council minutes, memoranda, supplement to bylaws and Mortuary Fund regulations, and a ritual for installation of local lodge officers. Local records include a history of the Lodge, correspondence, mortuary fund receipts, a mortuary fund certificate, membership application, and by-laws book. Newspaper clippings pertain to the opening of the Lodge hall and to the presentation of a statue of Dante by the Lodge. Photographs portrary Lodge events and leaders, and the Lodge hall. Artifacts include ribbons, buttons, name plate, and an emblem.

The Victoro Emanuele II Society was founded in Haverhill, Mass. in 1891. In 1920, the organization joined the Order Sons of Italy in America as Vittorio Emanuele Lodge No. 1041. It withdrew from the Order during the 1920s, but rejoined in 1932, when it became Vittorio Emanuele Lodge No. 1646.
